Delian Island
One of Coron’s hidden treasures, this small island offshore, at the boundary between the Calamian Islands and the open sea, is home to communities with different histories and traditions. The Tagbanua, the Indigenous people of Coron Island, have lived on these lands for generations. Alongside them, Visayan families have been living on the island for three generations, bringing with them their own traditions and knowledge of fishing and maritime life.
The island is known for its white-sand beaches, reefs and rich marine life, including a significant population of sea turtles.
This experience invites you to discover Coron from a different perspective: visit different fishing villages, explore the reefs alongside local fishermen and try to spot sea turtles. You will also discover one of the island’s hidden lagoons and have the opportunity to learn traditional fishing techniques passed down from generation to generation.
Between wild landscapes, white-sand beaches, lagoons and coral reefs, this experience, guided by locals themselves, allows you to discover the island from a different perspective, far from the usual tourist routes.
